2018 Vault/MCCA Law Firm Diversity Survey
The comprehensive report detailing results from the 2018 Vault/MCCA Annual Law Firm Diversity Survey is now available to members. We thank all the law firms, both large and small, that participated this year to help us track law firm progress in the critical area of diversity.
MCCA and Vault launched the initiative in 2004 to support the Chief Legal Officers’ Call to Action to increase diversity in our profession (Read the article). We worked closely with a general counsel advisory group to draft questions that will improve diversity and measure progress in our profession.
MCCA and Vault have also developed a database of historical results to make it easier to track diversity within a particular firm. Updated annually with data collected directly from more than 200 law firms, the Vault/MCCA Diversity Database is the only comprehensive database of its kind in the legal profession. Review the latest demographics and best practices with respect to recruiting, promotion and retention at the nation’s top law firms. Compare progress over time at individual firms or across the industry as a whole.
