William Tanner Allread received a Bachelor of Arts in History with distinction and a certificate in Education Studies from Yale University in 2016. A native Oklahoman, Mr. Allread returned to Oklahoma City after graduation as a Teach for America Corps member, teaching seventh grade science in a majority-minority, under-resourced middle school for two years. His experiences as a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and working in legal aid form the basis of his interest in Federal Indian law and appellate litigation. Mr. Allread is currently a first-year law student at Stanford Law School. He is an active member of the Native American Law Students Association and OutLaw.
