Wendy Serra graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of Florida, where she worked extensively at the Bob Graham Center on a variety of programs and research opportunities. Ms. Serra graduated top of her class and received the Spring 2017 Commencement 4-Year Scholar Award.

She was born and raised in Cuba, and arrived in the United States at the age of ten. Her experiences have made her passionate about advocating for underserved communities and increasing diversity in the legal profession.

Ms. Serra is currently a first-year, first-generation student at Yale Law School, where she is on the Board of the Latinx Law Students Association. She also mentors Yale College Latinx students who are interested in attending law school, and works as a Diversity Representative recruiting diverse students for Admissions.
