Wendy L. Hufford has been named vice president and chief litigation counsel at Cardinal Health. Hufford had been senior global litigation counsel for GE Consumer Finance since 1997, specializing in managing a global portfolio of significant litigation and regulatory matters, including class actions, commercial disputes, and government investigations.
From 1995 to 1997, Hufford had been vice president and senior litigation counsel for Credit Suisse First Boston. She worked for the New York and Washington, DC offices of Davis Polk & Wardwell from 1988 to 1995. She also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert J. Ward in the Southern District of New York from 1986 to 1988.
Hufford earned a bachelor of arts degree from Colgate University, where she was valedictorian of her class, and a juris doctorate from Yale Law School, where she was an editor of the Yale Law Journal.
