Thomas L. Sager has succeeded Stacey J. Mobley as senior vice president and general counsel of DuPont. Mr. Sager joined DuPont in 1976, as an attorney and advanced to become associate general counsel and chief litigation counsel in 1994. In 1998, he was named chief litigation counsel. He was named vice president and assistant general counsel in 1999. Mr. Sager helped pioneer the DuPont Convergence and Law Firm Partnering Program, which has become a benchmark for its innovative approach to the business of practicing law. Mr. Sager serves as chairman of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, where an annual award has been named in his honor to recognize his individual efforts and achievements to promote diversity in the legal profession. Mr. Sager received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.
