2009 MillerCoors Líderes Honoree

Sara Garcia Duran, an associate in Weil, Gotshal & Manges’s Dallas office, has been selected as one of twelve Hispanic leaders honored in the 2009 MillerCoors Líderes award program. The annual honor recognizes outstanding Hispanic individuals across the U.S. for their vision and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Hispanic community. Ms. Duran was nominated for consideration by Dallas Concilio of Hispanic Service Organizations, a nonprofit umbrella organization of groups addressing the needs of the Hispanic community of north Texas. Her work with Dallas Concilio includes serving as a mentor for four Hispanic high school girls. Ms. Duran received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and her B.A. from Southwestern University.
