Scott Beizaie has joined Holland & Knight’s Los Angeles office as senior counsel. He will concentrate his practice in international and cross-border transactions, with a specific emphasis on representing Japanese companies and financial institutions in a broad range of U.S. legal matters. Mr. Beizaie’s clients include local subsidiaries of several multi–national companies. Before joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Beizaie was a partner at Carlsmith Ball in Los Angeles, and practiced in the areas of corporate finance, business licensing, and real estate. He has handled retail and industrial leases, as well as business transactions including bank financing, acquisitions, and mergers. He received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of California, San Diego, and his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.
