Kevin Fong was selected to lead Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP’s litigation team. The 50-lawyer team includes a core group of more than fifteen partners who have been together at Pillsbury more than twenty years. Many of the litigation partners are leaders of the San Francisco legal community, with a reputation among local lawyers and judges as being among the Bay Area’s premier litigators. In addition to his new responsibility, Mr. Fong will continue to chair the firm’s diversity committee, and co-lead the firm’s national appellate practice. Mr. Fong recently completed a three-year appointment by the American Bar Association to its Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession. Mr. Fong has served as president of the Asian Pacific Bar of California, as well as president of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area. Mr. Fong earned his A.B. from Harvard College and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
