Kellye Walker has been appointed general counsel, North America of Diageo, a leading beer, wine, and spirits company. In this position, Walker will report directly to Tim Proctor, general counsel, Diageo PLC, and serve as a member of the Diageo North America Executive Team.
Prior to Diageo, Walker served as chief legal officer and member of the senior management team of BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. Prior to her tenure at BJ’s, Walker gained experience in three prestigious law firms, counseling clients on mergers and acquisitions, private financing, and general corporate governance.
Walker earned a bachelor of science degree from Louisiana Tech University and her juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law. She serves as a board member for several prestigious organizations, including the Association of Corporate Counsel, the New England Legal Foundation, and the Museum of Afro-American History.
