Karla Anderson was selected as an MCCA LMJ Scholarship recipient in 2009. Karla earned her law degree (JD) and a law and business certificate from Vanderbilt University Law School. Karla is currently an associate at Ogletree Deakins in Charlotte, North Carolina where she represents employers in a range of employment matters including defending charges against employers filed with federal and state agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and defending employers in Title VII litigation. Karla is also a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and is a frequent speaker on topics relating to all types of employment law issues such as diversity and inclusion, multi-generational tensions in the workplace, free speech, and workplace violence.
