Allegheny Technologies Incorporated
James C. Diggs, senior vice president and general counsel for PPG Industries, Inc., has been elected to the Board of Directors of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated.
Mr. Diggs is responsible for all legal, environmental, health and safety matters at PPG and its subsidiaries around the world. He joined PPG in 1997. Prior to joining PPG, Mr. Diggs had a successful 21-year career with TRW Inc., rising to vice president and assistant general counsel.
An advocate for civic and charitable work, Mr. Diggs serves on the boards of the United Way of Allegheny County, the Carnegie Institute, the Carnegie Museum of Art, and the Pressley Ridge Schools Foundation.
