Fallon DePina Banks serves as Deputy General Counsel at UnitedHealth Group, one of the largest healthcare companies in the world. Her practice focuses on data use, privacy, and cybersecurity. She has extensive experience managing Fortune 10 privacy programs, driving data use strategy, and ensuring enterprise compliance amidst complex regulatory regimes. She provides guidance on HIPAA; GLBA; CCPA; biometric information privacy laws; cybersecurity laws; and myriad state and federal privacy, security, and consumer protection laws. She also serves as Chair of UnitedHealth Group’s Culture, Inclusion, and Diversity Council, where she helps advance its mission of fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where all employees can thrive. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Fallon served as Privacy Counsel at Aetna (now CVS Health) and as an associate at a leading New England law firm. She graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University and the University of Connecticut School of Law.
