Emilio Figueroa graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Criminology and Sport Management in 2017 from Florida State University. Mr. Figueroa was raised in a single parent household in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he was the first in his family to attend college and now law school. His interest in the law arose when attended the Discover Law Undergraduate Scholars Program at the University of Buffalo. As part of the program, he met with members of the legal community, developed his legal writing and oral advocacy skills, and received advice regarding LSAT Preparation and the law school application process. Mr. Figueroa is currently a first-year law student at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Emilio wants to serve and protect others as a corporate attorney. Emilio enjoys connecting with the community through service opportunities, such as Street Law, where he provides students at Chicago public schools with a foundation of our Constitution and the legal system. He is also an active member of the Black Law Students Association and the Latino Law Students Association at Northwestern.
