Ebonee Johnson, a Detroit native, graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in Political Science from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Johnson was a member of the Sidney A. Ribeau President’s Leadership Academy, and received the university’s Woman of Distinction Award and Ray Marvin Leadership Award. Ms. Johnson is a collegiate mentor with College Prep International, a Detroit based organization, assisting high school and college students with career planning, college selection, and internship applications. Ms. Johnson is currently a first-year, first-generation law student at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. where she serves as the 1L Representative for the International Trade and Investment Law Society. She intends to pursue a career in international commercial transactions law to bridge her passions for business development, economics, and politics.
