Donna Wilson is the CEO and Managing Partner of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. Donna’s emphasis on building a diverse and inclusive firm across all levels has garnered Manatt numerous honors from organizations such as Working Mother, The Human Rights Campaign, and Women in Law Empowerment Forum. In addition to these firmwide awards, Donna has been the recipient of several notable recognitions, including the Counsel for Inclusion in Financial Services 2018 Fusion Award and is an active member of the National LGBT Bar Association.

In addition to serving as CEO and Managing Partner, Donna co-leads the firm’s privacy and data security practice. Nationally recognized for her bet-the-company work on behalf of clients facing litigation and government enforcement actions in the consumer financial services and privacy and data security spaces, Donna’s extensive crisis and risk management experience, broad subject matter knowledge and precedent-setting litigation experience makes her highly valued by in-house counsel, the C-level suite and boards in both pre-emptively mitigating risk and navigating challenging exposure.

Donna received her BA from The George Washington University and her JD from the University of Virginia. After law school, she clerked for the late Honorable David R. Thompson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the late Honorable Stanley S. Brotman of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia.
