David Pilson is the Senior Director of Global Compensation, Benefits, & Equity Compliance at eBay Inc. His team is responsible for all aspects of executive compensation, employee benefit, equity compliance, and stock administration in the 34 countries where eBay operates.
Diversity and inclusion is a passion for David. David serves on the Legal Diversity Committee where he co-chairs a workstream dedicated to managing eBay’s legal spend with firms and vendors that share eBay’s commitment to diversity. He also designed eBay’s Legal Internship Program – a unique opportunity for diverse first year law students to immerse themselves in the inner workings of eBay and to experience first-hand, complex legal, regulatory, and public policy issues.
Before eBay, David practiced at a multinational firm where he counseled Fortune 100 companies with respect to their employee benefit and compensation arrangements. He also worked as an FP&A analyst at ConocoPhillips prior to law school. David holds a degree in Economics from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He is a native of Houston, Texas and now resides in San Jose, CA.
