Bethew B. “Bert” Jennings III has been named Executive Director of Intellectual Property and Corporate Development at AT&T. Mr. Jennings will manage a team responsible for monetizing AT&T’s wireless intellectual property through licensing and enforcement. Mr. Jennings comes from Landmark Graphics Corporation and Halliburton Energy Services where, as intellectual property attorney, he was responsible for increasing and managing patents and patent applications, as well as handling all IP-related matters including litigation. Mr. Jennings is a member of several organizations, including the Houston Lawyers Association. Mr. Jennings received his B.A. from Morehouse University, his JD from Georgia State University College of Law, and holds a number of post-graduate degrees in IP and computing.
