Ava Lias-Booker, a partner in McGuireWoods’ Complex Commercial Litigation Department, has been named the new managing partner of the firm’s Baltimore office. In addition to overseeing daily operations in the busy Baltimore office, she will head that site’s litigation group, which represents corporate and other clients in complex commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Lias-Booker has more than 20 years of experience litigating and resolving disputes and has served as lead counsel in numerous litigation matters. Her clients span a broad range of industries including financial, retail, and telecommunications. An alumna of Duke University, where she earned her B.A., Ms. Lias-Booker also holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.
