Aiyanna Sanders graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and African-American Studies from Emory University in 2019. Aiyanna’s interest in law arose in her youth, as she witnessed several community and family members, including her father, face the structural and systemic ills embedded within the criminal justice system. Aiyanna is currently a first-year law student at Harvard Law School where she desires to work as an advocate for the communities of which she is passionate.
