Adrienne Banks Pitts has been named a partner at the law firm of Winston & Strawn, where she is a member of the firm’s litigation department. Pitts concentrates her practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation and white-collar defense. She has worked on federal cases involving antitrust, securities, patent and copyright infringement, tax fraud, health care fraud, and federal grand jury investigations. Pitts also has experience with state cases, including bank fraud, breach of contract and fiduciary duty, accounting malpractice, mass tort, product liability, and consumer fraud. She is the immediate past chairperson and current board member of the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms. Pitts also serves on the board of directors of L.E.A.R.N. Charter School in Chicago and is a member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Midwest Regional Alumni Advisory Board. She earned a juris doctorate with honors from Boston University School of Law. Pitts is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and earned a B.A. in economics.
