Description: Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading international law firms, seeks to hire highly qualified junior/mid-level associate with law firm experience to join our employee benefits and executive compensation practice in the Boston office.
With approximately 75 lawyers and benefits professionals, Morgan Lewis has one of the largest and most robust employee benefits and executive compensation practices in a law firm of our size. Our comprehensive practice helps clients of all types (ranging from small, middle-market, and Fortune 500 companies to governmental entities and tax-exempt organizations) to address the full gamut of employee benefits and executive compensation matters – including developing and maintaining employee benefit plans (retirement and health and welfare); designing and implementing executive compensation plans and arrangements; and responding to challenging payroll tax and fringe benefits issues.
We also work with our retirement plan clients to structure fiduciary arrangements and deal with the complex rules regarding the investment of retirement plan assets. We advise clients regarding the unique challenges that multiemployer plans and their contributing employers, tax-exempt entities, and governmental employers face.

Qualifications: A background in employee benefits and executive compensation in the context of mergers & acquisitions is required. Experience with qualified and non-qualified retirement plans is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical skills.
