Qualifications:

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with U.S. and international portfolio management, have the ability to work independently, and be able to supervise and oversee the work of more junior associates and paralegals. In particular, this position requires at least 8+ years of prior experience (in-house and/or in a law firm) counseling on and managing 100+ mark U.S. and international trademark portfolios (i.e., domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, enforcement and counseling), policing and enforcing trademark rights in the U.S. and internationally, managing complex multi-national trademark assignment recordation projects, drafting trademark demand letters and negotiating related settlement, consent and coexistence agreements, conducting due diligence on trademark assets and related agreements, and training and overseeing junior lawyers and paralegals on all of the foregoing. Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is a bonus: trademark licensing; litigation involving copyright, trademark (including Trademark Trial and Appeal Board administrative litigation), trade dress, false advertising and other Lanham Act and related state law issues; on-line business, social media, advertising and privacy issues; franchise-related experience.
