The Regulatory Attorney will provide legal support and counseling for a broad range of regulatory issues to the Global Human Health Division, with a focus on counseling clients in the area of FDA promotion and labeling of drugs and vaccines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide FDA regulatory advice on advertising and promotional strategy and tactics to clients in marketing and sales departments
  • Advise research organization on regulatory issues related to product development and labeling.
  • Develop expertise in specific areas of FDA regulatory law to serve as advisor to the business and other attorneys
  • Provide legal services, advice and guidance that is consistent with law and Company policy; furthers business objectives and appropriately balances divisional/function/corporate business objectives and legal risks Exercise judgment to drive decisions on routine and non-routine matters within area of practice

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited US law school
Admission to the Bar of Pennsylvania or another state
Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of legal experience as an attorney in a law firm or corporate setting, in either the pharmaceutical area OR product liability litigation

Preferred:

  • Experience in product liability litigation and business counseling is a plus
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and analytical skills and an aptitude for managing a portfolio of issues

DUTIES: Define instructional, learning, or performance objectives. Develop instructional materials and products and assist in the technology-based redesign of courses. Design learning products, including web-based aids or electronic performance support systems. Maintain existing online courses including developing and implementing content and programming changes. Convert existing PowerPoint training content into web ready, interactive training modules or tutorials (Asynchronous or synchronous delivery formats). Develop reporting processes and facilities to ensure notification and tracking needs are met for all compliance training. Provide technical support for learners accessing our online courses, as needed. Design and develop reusable instructional and question templates and department standards and procedures. Maintain content on Compliance Training website. Assess effectiveness and efficiency of instruction according to ease of instructional technology use and student learning, knowledge transfer, and satisfaction. Present and make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction delivery options. Provide analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies, educational policies, or courseware standards. Conduct needs assessments and strategic learning assessments to develop the basis for curriculum development or to update curricula. Drive the authoring of web-based courseware from storyboards including graphic support and development.
