On December 15, 2010, Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) launched its interactive job board, the MCCA Job Bank. With its focus on advancing diversity in corporate legal departments and law firms, the MCCA Job Bank offers members -- and the legal profession at large -- an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.
Both members and non-members can use the MCCA Job Bank to reach diverse qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for candidates based on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to email candidates daily. They also benefit from online reporting that provides job activity statistics. Members and FANs can post open positions for $300 per posting and non-members can post them for $400 per posting.
For job seekers, the MCCA Job Bank is a free service that provides access to outstanding employers and jobs in the industry that are committed to diversity. In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review if they choose. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.
